The VR series uses direct-expansion cooling as the basis of its condensation arrangement. This is a different equipment duty from a coolant centrifuge, which handles suspended solids in a liquid. The two should not be specified or compared using the same flow or performance assumptions.<\/p><p>The first question is whether the actual vapour stream is suitable for the proposed recovery arrangement. Identify the solvent or mixture, inlet conditions, carrier gas and expected operating pattern.
